Casa in La Loma Plaza

Bob added finishing touches to the last of the paintings he started during the Kilborn workshop in July. The second day of the workshop the class visited La Loma Plaza located west of Taos Plaza. Class participants sketched many of the structures around the historic plaza which was established as a fortress against Indian attack in 1796. Bob chose a more recent adobe home – two stores with tall buttresses.
